Product Introduction
JIC tube fittings meet the requirements of both SAE J514 and ISO 8434-2, are a type of flare fitting machined with a 37 degree flare seating surface. JIC (Joint Industry Council) fittings are widely used in fuel delivery and fluid power applications. The design has a small metal to metal seal area, the seal is achieved through metal to metal contact between the finished surface of the fitting nose and the inside diameter of the flared tubing, which results in a compact design, low assembly torque, high temperature and high pressure capability.
JIC fitting has types of male and female straights, elbows, bulkheads, tee, cross, plug. With vast selection of port end options, including SAE ORB, NPT, BSPP-ED, BSPP-O-ring and retaining ring, BSPP, BSPT, ISO 6149, Metric-O-ring and retaining ring, and Metric-ED.
